We are having problems getting the text done in Visual Composer to sit above the background image. In the Page Attributes we have it set to No Parent and Template set to Page Photo Header* *This gives us the Slider Options area. We add a background image to this which appears as we need on the page, but the text done in visual composer cannot be seen. Why is this not sitting above the background image. Can anyone help with this?
In the Page Photo Header template, you can't use visual composer element.
In the slider option, there is the option name: Slider text (multiple) and you can add your text in this.

Our theme come with revolution slider, it's flexible and it can help you do it. You don't need force your self to work with visual composer and default slider.
Please check revolution slider and it will help you out.
