Ik bought the theme for the second time. I really want to use the slider revolution full width like the one that is used in the demo but i can't use it.

I attached a picture of what it says in my wordpress theme. Also a screenshot of the demo page with the slider revolution that is not working.

    Hello,

You don't need to activate Slider Revolution in order to work properly with the theme.

If you are trying to import the one from http://jellydemos.com/wordpress/berk/revolution/ please check the attachment. If not please send us a link the demo.

If you are adding this on a new page pPlease go to Edit Page > select Template: Header over Revolution Slider.

If the problem is in background image, please put it to Main / Background Image https://tppr.me/Iqfkk and don't add it as a new Image layer.

Please check and let me know.

It seems that now these kind of js errors started to appear: https://tppr.me/uZ7Gb

Could you tell us if you made any more changes except changing the background and add "the future of  canteens" and a button?

I want a background image (as large as a viewport) with on top of that a title, subtitle and a button.

I want to do this for 5 pages with different titles en background images.

Is there a way we can fix the error. I would be really glad if you could make it happen but i also want to know how to do it myself for in the future. If i want to change anything. When you imported it, it worked, but as soon as i made some changes it didn't work anymore..

I edited the style of the text and button with the custom css option.

However when i am going to use this slider for the other pages i don't want it to stop working whenever i make a minor change everytime..

Could you elaborate more? I duplicated your slide https://healthfoodwall.com/hfw2/wp-admin/admin.php?page=revslider&view=slide&id=5 but re-added Text and Button and it works correctly. It seems that your changes somehow breaks the slider so we need to know what exactly you did.

The slide i made is #1 slide. As you can see on the first screenshot. Yours is #2 slide. This is the only slide that's displaying. The second screenshot is the css i did to adjust the text en the third to adjust the button.

I copied styles to https://healthfoodwall.com/hfw2/wp-admin/admin.php?page=revslider&view=slide&id=5 and it's working like it supposed to. Maybe you changed it's animation?

It has been working fine now even when i made adjustments. I have two last questions which are really important for my use of the slider.

    1. The text just keeps getting smaller and smaller on smaller screens but i want it to be set statically on 2em.

    2. I want the button and title to align to the logo (see screenshot). How can i do this?

  •  840
    Jelly replied

    1. Please disable https://tppr.me/5hPbI

    2. Go to Edit Slide > move Caption Text 3 close to the left border.

Great! And how can i make it align with the logo?

    Jelly replied

Remove width from Edit Slide. Try setting it to auto.

It works on a large screen. When the screen is  smaller is has no margin it starts to look very bad (screenshot).

Also how do i make sure the button stays under the title?

If these two things are fixed the slider is fine for me..

    I enabled https://tppr.me/mShNv. Now go to Edit Slide > https://tppr.me/US7S8 > select resolution > set font-size.

Great! It works for the mobile etc. I still have some when i scale it down in my browser but i'll leave it like that for now.

Important is how do fix that the button is always below the title. I don't want it look like the screenshot at any time.

Please move it way down and left for mobile resolutions. You can also try pressing Preview: https://tppr.me/2KAdj

I edited with the tips you gave me and it kind of works on my laptop now. Not as clean as i wanted it to be but i guess it's ok. However when i open it on another laptop (a windows laptop for example) The button, text and background layer fly everywhere when i resize the website (making it bigger en smaller with the cursor.

When the website goes live these things really cant happen. Can i ask you to test how it works on your laptop en maybe help me make sure that is stays static and clean?

Please follow https://www.liontreegroup.com/responsive-web-design/how-to-make-revolution-slider-look-better-on-mobile-devices/ and change Layer Grid Size for each resolution.

Please also note that you cannot simply put the button to the bottom: https://tppr.me/rlweb. Slider Revolution is in Full Screen mode so you always need to make sure that text and button should not exceed the average screen height in Vertical and Horizontal view. You can test it out with Chrome Developer Console: https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/device-mode
