I am used to work with themes in this way. I run countless websites and as said, when I purchase a theme, I import the demo with no problems, and then from the demo I start recreating the various sections of the website. This unfortunately is not possible with your theme (I gave you access and you couldn't import it either), therefore I have already wasted 2 days of my time chasing this.
There is nothing wrong on the server side, I do import other demos with no problems, and this is what the aim was with your theme. I need to move forward so if you could refund the purchase I can move on and choose another theme which actually does what it says in the description. I think it's my right to ask a refund if something does not work.

We can import everything is you send us the login info as a private message. Just let us know which demo would you like.
Try increasing max_execution_time to 500 or even more. Make sure to remove the change after the import.

Please understand that the theme works completely fine. You can import the demo data without images and then simply assign your own with no issues.
