Ok, I did that and it button says closed but still has the ticket icon in the button. that may confuse people thinking that the event has been sold out or cancelled or tickets are no longer available. I ended up putting "FREE EVENT" on the poster photo to avoid confusion.
For you next update please consider 1) If there is no link in the "Tickets link" then just HIDE the button 2) put the price field below the tickets button on the event posters

Some of my shows are A) Free or B) there is not a ticket link, the people just call a phone #
How do I eliminate/remove the "Buy Tickets" button for certain events????

Please remove the ticket link in events and type Free in ticket prices. It will disable the button tickets.

Ok when I uploaded the new jellythemes.events.php file you sent me it does now hide the ticket button ... NICE.
I thought that upload was to fix the sort issue.
