    I cannot get the parallax to work.  I have added a background image to a row.  In the browser nothing shows - no background image, no section content or anything.  I have not changed any css.  The html output for my section is below.  why does the parallax not work?

    <section id="stock-loss-security" class="section testimonials-wrap " style="background-color:#fff; ">
                        <div class="container ">

    <div class="wpb_single_image wpb_content_element vc_align_left">

    <figure class="wpb_wrapper vc_figure">

    </figure>
    </div>

    <div class="wpb_text_column wpb_content_element ">
    <div class="wpb_wrapper">
    <blockquote><p>
    Our mission statement is “protect your profits’.
    </p></blockquote>

    </div>
    </div>

    <div class="wpb_text_column wpb_content_element ">
    <div class="wpb_wrapper">
    <p>Our team of loss prevention specialists work within the group to foster a commitment to continuous operational improvement leading to greater business profitability</p>

    </div>
    </div>
    </div></div></div><div class="jt_col col-sm-4"><div class="vc_column-inner "><div class="wpb_wrapper"></div></div></div></div><div class="row jt_row vc_inner jt_row-fluid visible"><div class="jt_col col-sm-4"><div class="vc_column-inner "><div class="wpb_wrapper">
    <div class="wpb_text_column wpb_content_element ">
    <div class="wpb_wrapper">
    <p>Stock loss is the primary focus, and poses the greatest risk to profits.  There are however many other risks to profits, including cash, administrative and margin loss and internal theft, which are all key focus areas for the team.  The safety and security of colleagues, customers and property is a further significant consideration.</p>

    </div>
    </div>
    </div></div></div><div class="jt_col col-sm-4"><div class="vc_column-inner "><div class="wpb_wrapper">
    <div class="wpb_text_column wpb_content_element ">

    Hi

    Thank you.  I have put image in section attributes so now i see the parallax effect - the sections above and below this scroll over it - however, I do not see this sections content - it is there but invisible.  Would be grateful for your help.  Is this all documented somewhere as I couldn't find it.

    Thanks

    Michelle

    Hi,

    Maybe you can provide wplogin and website url so I can check the setting?

    Hi

    I'm currently building this on localhost.  I now have the parallax background, the content shows but it has no background colour.  I have set a white background colour on each row in the content but this does not show.  so the black text is sitting directly on the image.

    Thanks

    Michelle

    Hi

    Background colour in section attributes does not work as there is an image so you don't see the background colour.  I put background colour on the rows but this doesn't work either.  I have had to set a background colour with opacity in the css on the .container to  make this work.  Is this what you would expect or should someone with no css knowledge be able to make this work.  Is this what you would expect.  I don't mind doing it this way but wondered if there was a way to  make it work just from the settings in the "page" form?

    thanks

    Hi,

    Sorry, I'm understand it now, in this situation, we can using background image with background color you need. Then you will need add color layer with photoshop. It's the way we do for our background image.
