I (webdesign/CMS novice alert!) recently purchased BERK. I am currently experiencing some difficulties in managing my content.
I am, at large, using VISUAL COMPOSER to fill my pages. The portfolio/work section seems to be coming together by using MEDIA GRID element but there are some quips that I am encountering now. I use Wordpress 4.9.6 on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6.
Ideally I would like my page to resemble the LEFT MENU / MINIMAL PORTFOLIO which you have on display as much as possible (http://jellydemos.com/wordpress/berk/sidebar/). the subsequent division and selection of different categories within the portfolio section (eg. all/branding/packaging et al.) is of paramount importance to me once I get there. I would also to make the portfolio images link to a separate page which then offers a larger image and, also, some written description of the project (as shown on the theme sample).
I wonder if you’ll be able to help me out on some of these matters. It appears that I do need some guidance at this point.
I've used JellyTheme's Portfolio element to show Works on the page instead of Media Grid.
I've added one Work as an example: https://squynt.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=152&action=edit. Please notice that if you want to filter Portfolio you need to add and assign Type with your Work item. I've added Type1 and Type2 as an example.
Image sizes are hard-coded in the source code of the theme and can't be changed from the outside. You can always find a developer that can help you with theme/plugin customizations here: https://studio.envato.com/
I've applied fixes to berk-jellythemes-plugin/blocks/jellythemes.works.php so now View More in https://squynt.net/ should be visible when there are more elements to load. Please check and let me know.
Are you referring to this text: https://tppr.me/JXXBb? If so then you can use Column Settings to set up as many columns as you want: https://tppr.me/iA0x6. Just put the logo in one column and the text next to it.
For some reason your theme didn't have the necessary code for mobiles. Not really sure why. I've added the fix so it will work now even after WP updates.
P.S. I would appreciate if you could please rate the Theme and like the assistance under my support, means a lot to me. Thank you.
You can rate it with your themeforest account at your downloads page, precisely at this link: http://themeforest.net/downloads and hover over the 5 stars for our theme.
Thank you very much for the review. Please next time if you'll have any issues contact us in the comments of the item or https://themeforest.net/user/jellythemes > Email jellythemes.

Hello,
Could you please send us wp-admin login/password and website url as a private message?
Have you imported demo data?
Best Regards,
Jelly Team
I've made a couple examples for you.
This is the main page with portfolio https://squynt.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=149&action=edit. Please notice that Template is set to Multisection Page.
You've set the right menu: https://squynt.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jellythemes_options&tab=1 in Select menu layout. So no changes here.
Best Regards,
Jelly Team
Could you please elaborate more?
Here's my example page: https://squynt.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=149&action=edit
Here's a Work Item you've made: https://squynt.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=152&action=edit
I've assigned Featured Image to it: https://tppr.me/1CLSK so now you can see this item in the portfolio: https://squynt.net/beispiel-seite/3-columns-fullwidth/
To edit Types please go to https://squynt.net/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=berk-type&post_type=berk-works
Best Regards,
Jelly Team
1. Add types here: https://squynt.net/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=berk-type&post_type=berk-works
2. Portfolio shows Works so if you want to add item to portfolio you should go here: https://squynt.net/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=berk-works
3. Yes.
4. If you want to add more than one here https://tppr.me/Ds5fn use Ctrl + Mouse Click on image you want to add.
out of curiosity where is this content linked to that page
Could you please rephrase your question?
5. Are you referring to this page: http://jellydemos.com/wordpress/berk/projects/footwork/? If so then you should already have one: https://squynt.net/projects/sabine-dinkel/
Best Regards,
Jelly Team

Here's the code for Mouse Hover effect:
So you can change it's color or background, change height/width to cover the whole tile.
Just put it to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

This code should work:
WPML is the most popular one. We haven't tested it with our theme, I am afraid.
