The panels on the carousel component on the home page....opens a pop up window for inserting images.....I was wondering if instead of a pop up window there is the option of clicking into a web page template? Does the solido web template have additional web page templates that I can insert with text and images.

Usually this is because of some issues with the server itself. As the theme itself doesn't affect the importing process. Everything is done with WordPress Import plugin.
